I was asked by Fight! Magazine to shoot photos for a profile on Bas Rutten MMA champion fighter and trainer. We started the day at the studio where they tape their weekly INSIDE MMA show. These guys do this in one take and have a relaxed set full of great people. Then we were on to his home which you can tell is full of love, notes from his daughter greeted us on the front door. Last we hit his Elite MMA gym for some portraits. Bas is fun, and energy in motion. He was great to work with and totally game for anything, a great grounded guy. I was fascinated by his tatoos and asked for the story on each one. How can you not love a guy who sends you a text saying Party ON!

The first time I met Melissa and Dan I remember thinking, they are so Cool! They were married yesterday at the Rancho Sol Del Pacifico in Malibu over looking the ocean. When I arrived there was an amazing Andalusian stallion running in the corral, and when I left there were 6 Border Collies romping in the same place. It is a one of a kind venue, full of charm. Melissa and Dan are a dream couple for me because they love with Gusto! Melissa has sass and knows how to grab her man and kiss him. I had the hardest time deciding which photos of them to post because there are so many I love! Their photos embody them…playful, hip, passionate, fun, cool and full of love for each other and their friends and families! Enjoy your honeymoon! Every detail was made perfect by Whitney Drake with Wish Wonder Dream, and the flowers were truly beautiful by Holly Flora.
